Brykietolandia is an ecology-focused workshop designed for primary school students, high school students, and university students. Through practical examples, games, exercises, and competitions, we teach participants how to care for our planet and actively engage in pro-ecological activities.
One of the highlights of the workshop is a demonstration of straw briquette production. These briquettes are 100% natural and have a wide range of applications – they can be used for heating, biofuel production, biochar, supporting biogas production, as hygienic bedding for animals, or as a fibrous snack for pigs and horses.
During the workshops, we discuss key topics related to ecology, climate protection, and our environmental impact – from carbon footprints and waste management to everyday choices that can reduce our negative impact on the Earth.
We believe that small, daily actions, such as reducing waste production or making conscious use of resources, can collectively contribute significantly to slowing down climate change and protecting our planet for future generations.
Every year in September, as part of "Brykietolandia", we organise an "Open Day" in the frame of the
European Sustainable Development Week
. This action is in line with
Sustainable Development Goals
number 4 "Quality education" and 7 "Affordable and clean energy", included in the United Nations plan for peace and prosperity for people and the planet now and in the future.
"Brykietolandia" is an original program developed and run by

Our activities were appreciated by the Ministry of Climate and Environment.
Here is the letter of thanks:
Here are the references we received from teachers and parents of children who participated in the Brykietolandia workshops.
One of the most memorable things we heard from the children after the workshops was:
"Miss, can we come here tomorrow too?"
It is precisely these kinds of words and positive experiences that motivate us to continue our work. For us, the greatest reward is witnessing how our workshops stimulate children's and young people's curiosity about the world, inspire a desire to discover new things each day, and foster an understanding of how our actions impact the environment. This is an invaluable lesson! :)
"Brykietolandia" was recognised during the European Bioenergy Day by the Brussels-based organization
Bioenergy Europe
as a model example of inspiring younger generations to take action for clean energy and environmental sustainability.
